So Many Colours/So Little Time is the debut album from Sportsday Megaphone, aka Hugh Frost, bursting forth in 3-minute volleys of electro-pop and synth-punk and while this may seem tantalising to some, words cannot honestly express the dismay and repulsion I felt listening to this garbage.

To surmise what a travesty this album is as best I can would be likening it to the rejected music put forward for the opening theme tune of Pac Man while a shameful indie wannabe wails his worthless lyrics in a forced English accent over it. Sportsday Megaphone tries to be deep and meaningful in parts, for example, he pokes fun at Scientology in the first single off this album "LA" but it would be hard for one to pick up on that due to his nauseating accent; I had to google it to find out what was going on! The album itself is too long for its own good - fourteen tracks, made entirely of gimmicky, electronic and repetitive chip sounds that are enjoyable on the opening track, "Song For The Owls", but become over-bearing and unsettling to the listener as the album progresses.

To conclude, Sportsday Megaphone definitely falls under the "chip-hop" genre that is gradually emerging and could be likened to a far less attractive and talented Crystal Castles. But he falls short amongst his peers and has slipped to the bottom of his class focusing too much on his computer games and not enough attention being given as to how he could make a well crafted, enjoyable and listenable song, not even album!
